Computer Science graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, working full-time in cyber security since June 2021. Now a Security Engineer at a hedge fund.
Most of the job is software engineering — building the Python tooling and automation that security operations run on. Lately that's meant agentic engineering: building LLM-driven systems and working out how to secure them. I also embed with non-security teams to fix their issues at the source rather than patching symptoms.
